An applicant for employment, Stephen Kent (“Plaintiff” or “Class Representative”), filed a lawsuit against Eigen Labs, Inc. (“Defendant”) on behalf of himself and a class of similarly situated applicants for employment. Judge Jason Poydras is overseeing the lawsuit, Stephen Kent v. Eigen Labs, Inc., No. 25-2-03849-1 SEA (the “Lawsuit”) which is pending in King County Superior Court. Plaintiff claimed in the lawsuit that Defendant’s job postings for open positions in Washington did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and/or general description of benefits being offered in violation of Washington law. Defendant disputes Plaintiff’s claims and contends it has not violated any law and Plaintiff’s claims are without merit.

The Court still has to decide whether to approve the settlement. No settlement benefits or payments will be provided unless the Court approves the settlement and it becomes final.
